 1. What is the shelf life on PROTREATS? How should I store my cookies?

PROTREATS cookies are individually heat-sealed in food-grade cellophane bags to preserve freshness and protect quality during storage and transport. When kept sealed at room temperature, cookies typically stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. Once opened, cookies are best enjoyed within 3-4 days. If opened, keep in an airtight container in room temperature for up to 4 days, never the fridge. Want to preserve longer? You can freeze them and enjoy at a later date :) just toss in the oven for 2 minutes after frozen, or let come to room temperature.

3. How soon do your cookies ship out?

Cookies are baked and shipped same day on the Monday after placing your order! (Unless that Monday is a holiday).I'm generally baking around the clock to get pick up orders out to the local area, but if you are ordering for shipping, you can expect to receive your cookies typically between 1-4 business days, depending on your zone. Shipping availability and timelines are listed at checkout! Shipping schedules may vary. 

4. Can I hold or schedule an order?

5. When do you come out with new flavors?

PROTREATS is so excited to come up with new fun flavors! Due to high demand and limited amounts, the menu will stick around for 3-4 weeks at a time so more people can have the opportunity to try! If momentum for a specific flavor is high, PROTREATS will do its absolute best to keep it around. This is why reviews are valued!
Keep an eye out for a new menu each month, with surprise flavors to drop too! 

6. I have a non-communicable disease (such as diabetes). Can I have PROTREATS? 

PROTREATS are food products, not medical or supplement graded foods. These products are not tailored to be weight loss supplements or alternatives, or health management products. PROTREATS cannot provide medical advice or make health claims related to medical conditions. Nutrition facts are evaluated by labels on packages. It is best you consult your healthcare provider before consuming PROTREATS if you suffer from any non communicable diseases, or use your best judgment.

7. Are nutrition facts medically verified or lab tested?

No. Nutrition facts are solely provided in good faith for the community. Nutrition facts are estimates based on ingredient calculations, cookie weight and batch count. Values may vary. 

8. Do you offer catering or bulk orders?

Yes! PROTREATS offers catering and bulk orders for events, gyms, teams, work events, celebrations and special occasions. Please email your request to protreatsbyair@gmail.com

9. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

PROTREATS is doing it's absolute best to accommodate those who are gluten free, refined sugar free, or dairy free. All dietary restriction orders must be requested and confirmed in advance via email or direct message on Instagram/Tik Tok prior to production. This is not part of the weekly drops. Gluten-free batches require separate preparation and ingredient handling and are typically available in quantities of 6 or more of the same flavor cookies. Orders placed without prior confirmation will be prepared as listed on the website and cannot be modified after payment and production scheduling. Please email or message directly before placing your order to confirm for your restriction!! 

 

10. Are these comparable to high protein, low calorie post workout bars?

The goal of PROTREATS is to create an indulgent sweet treat that you typically have on date night or in the comfort of your home, like your favorite Crumbl/Insomnia cookie, or decadent cookie from your favorite bakery, but with added nutritional properties and ingredients you could feel good about. I’m always snacking on my favorite desserts (chocolate cake, ice cream, cookies) and the calories add up quickly! With PROTREATS, I can have the all the best parts of a cookie, and still have some nutritional value, from fiber, protein, collagen, and a lower calorie index compared to other bakery style cookies. PROTREATS is not marketed as a meal replacement or weight loss product.

 
11. It looks like my package is delayed!

PROTREATS does it’s best to work with shipping carriers, specifically UPS, to ensure that your package gets delivered to you on time. Sometimes due to weather, logistics, operational issues or route traffic, your package may be delayed for any of those reasons. However, once your PROTREATS cookie box is dropped off and scanned by the shipping carrier, it is officially out of my hands and in the care of the carrier. At that point, delivery timelines are determined solely by the shipping provider. **you are solely responsible for the shipping address you indicate on your order. Additionally, I am unable to accommodate losing a tracking number. Please keep track of your order number for updates. You can use your tracking number to monitor real-time updates. You can also create a ticket with your tracking number if your package is lost. PROTREATS will do everything in good faith for a lost package, but the carrier is ultimately responsible for the missing item in which you will have to contact them.

12. Does PROTREATS offer refunds?

Due to the nature of my small business and perishable nature of baked goods, PROTREATS does not accept returns, exchanges or offer refunds once an order has been made. If you place an order for pick up and do not retrieve within 7 days, you forfeit your order. However, if you place an order for shipping and your package comes damaged or with any issues, please contact me within 24 hours so that I can make it right! 

13. My cookies arrived warm/mushy.

The weather is defrosting! If your cookies arrive a little softer than expected, it is due to the shipping and handling process, not on the baking process! Pop them in the fridge for a bit, and they'll firm up nicely. But if it’s a bigger issue, take some pictures and shoot them over to protreatsbyair@gmail.com, and I’ll do my best to make it right!

***Shipping: PROTREATS is not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged goods. Packages are created with extreme attention and oversight to ensure efficient shipping and service, however, once the package is dropped at a carrier location, it is out of our hands. PROTREATS cannot be held responsible for the condition it may arrive in or any delays.

Allergies: We bake all products in a shared commercial kitchen. We cannot 100% guarantee no cross-contamination. We cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions. All of our cookies contain wheat, eggs, dairy and soy unless otherwise specified, and are made in a kitchen that uses nuts.

 

By purchasing you agree that all sales are final. By purchasing multiple times on one day/drop, you agree to processing and shipping fees for all purchases. Reminder this is a small business and not a large corporation.

The goal is to make treats that taste great, made better, because a lot of us are going to have a sweet treat anyway. Might as well find a way to pack it with some nutritional value!
